Proper Persistence Matters

Daily actions toward your goals matter. You are either getting closer to your goals or moving further away from them. Every day matters—do not take any day for granted. Each day is a gift from God, and we should be thankful and fruitful with it.

That doesn’t mean you need to work nonstop every waking moment. What does matter is making sure you have daily activities that move you closer to your dreams. Choose three to five tasks each day that support your goals and commit to completing them. Then do the same thing tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that.

When you string together enough consistent days, you’ll be surprised at how quickly your goals begin to materialize.

In my case, I am learning German. I have committed to this process for the next 100 days. I will study German for at least 15 minutes every day. There is no excuse for not finding 15 minutes to work toward becoming fluent. I am confident I will reach this goal by following this process.
